Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and PikaBreeze, a sole proprietorship based in Fremont, California, United States (“we”, “us”), which operates SlabIndex at slabindex.gg (the “Service”).

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

The Service aggregates publicly available pricing data for trading cards and graded slabs, and applies statistical models to it. It produces ratings, scores, rankings and commentary, including labels such as “Strong Buy” and “Sell”.

Those labels are descriptions of modelled price behaviour. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and they are not a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by your use of the Service.

Trading cards are collectibles, not securities. They are illiquid, volatile, and can lose value. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account or a subscription.

You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done through your account. One account is for one person; sharing credentials, or using one subscription to serve several people or a business other than your own, is a breach of these terms. Tell us promptly at seaking@slabindex.gg if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Paid plans are Premium ($9.99 monthly or $99.99 annually) and Pro ($19.99 monthly or $199.99 annually), in US dollars. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable sales tax; nothing is added at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annually as chosen — and your payment method is charged the then-current price for that plan until you cancel. We will tell you by email before any price change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings, with no need to contact us. See our Refunds & Cancellation policy for what happens when you do.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract data from the Service, other than through an API we have expressly licensed to you;
• resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the data, ratings or rankings obtained from the Service, whether or not for a fee;
• use the Service to build or train a competing product or dataset;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access control, usage limit, paywall or rate limit;
• interfere with the Service's operation, or use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this clause, and for a serious or repeated breach we may do so without refund.

Prices, population reports, sales records and card images are supplied by third parties. We check them where we can and label how each figure was arrived at, but we do not control them and we do not warrant that any figure is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any purpose.

A source may change, restrict or withdraw its data at any time. Where that happens, part of the Service may become unavailable or less complete, and that alone does not entitle you to a refund beyond what the Refunds policy provides.

The Service, its models, rankings, written analysis and design are ours or our licensors', and are protected by copyright and other rights. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your own purposes. It grants you no right in the underlying data.

Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound, PSA, BGS, CGC, TCGplayer and eBay, and all card names, artwork and set names, are the property of their respective owners. They are used here descriptively, to identify the items being priced. SlabIndex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any signal, rating, or historical record will predict any future outcome.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any trading, purchase, sale or grading decision you make, nor for lost profits, lost opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

We may change the Service, and may change these terms. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give you reasonable notice by email, and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused part of your current period.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service — in the last case with a pro-rata refund.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Alameda County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer may bring proceedings in their own country of residence where the law gives them that right.
